President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou on the country's national holiday, Independence Day.

The message particularly says: "We must state with satisfaction that the basis of the Armenian-Greek relations is the centuries-old strong friendly ties of our peoples, which continue to develop in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.

Armenia and Greece are committed to expanding and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral platforms.

I am confident that through joint efforts, the existing warm friendly relations, and effective cooperation will further develop and strengthen for the well-being of our peoples."
