Alen Simonyan sent a congratulatory message to Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of Germany, on his re-election

Acting President of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan sent a congratulatory message to Frank-Walter Steinmeier on his re-election as President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The congratulatory message reads in particular: "Armenia attaches great importance to expanding and deepening cooperation with Germany on both bilateral and multilateral platforms. Mutual trust and a sincere desire to deepen the existing stable partnership have always marked the relations between our countries.

This year is a jubilee for our countries, as it marks the 30th anniversary of establishing the Armenian-German diplomatic relations. This is a good opportunity to re-evaluate the success and achievements we have made over the past years, as well as to outline new areas of cooperation for the welfare of our peoples."
