Alen Simonyan sent congratulatory messages to the President of Iran and the Supreme Leader on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution

Acting President of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi on the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The message particularly says: "Armenia attaches great importance to the consistent strengthening of the warm and neighbourly Armenian-Iranian relations coming from the depths of the centuries.

Armenia and Iran are celebrating the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations this year, and I must state with satisfaction that the cooperation between our countries is continuously expanding in various spheres of mutual interest.

I am convinced that in the near future, we will deepen and develop the bilateral and multilateral cooperation based on solid foundations of mutual trust for the progress of our states, stability of the region, and well-being of our peoples."

The message particularly says: "I warmly congratulate you, and the friendly people of Iran, on the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

A close friendship based on mutual respect and trust, which has passed the test of centuries, unite our peoples.

I am glad to state that Armenia and Iran are celebrating the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations this year. Armenia has always attached special importance to strengthening interstate cooperation and enriching the bilateral agenda.

I am convinced that the warm and neighbourly relations between Armenia and Iran will continue to develop and expand for the stability of the region and the well-being of our peoples."
