President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the occasion of the country's national holiday, the Queen's birthday. In his message, President Sarkissian particularly noted:

"Armenia emphasizes the importance of continuously developing and strengthening multilateral cooperation with the United Kingdom. We are ready to take steps to supplement the agenda of bilateral relations with new ideas and initiatives. I am full of hope that with joint efforts, we will deepen the cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of our peoples."
