President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to Salome Zurabishvili: I am confident that through the joint efforts we will defeat this calamity too

President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili on the occasion of the national holiday – Restoration of Georgia’s state independence.

The message reads in particular:

“Friendship and mutual trust of the Armenian and Georgian people, which were formed through close historical and cultural contacts and cooperation, have proved their viability through the ages, overcoming with success all challenges and becoming a basis for the creation and development of the good-neighborly relations between the Republic of Armenia and Georgia.

Especially today, conditioned by the complex times related to the coronavirus pandemic, the importance of close cooperation of our neighboring friendly states becomes very clear. I am confident that through the joint efforts we will be able to defeat this global calamity, too.”

President Armen Sarkissian wished Salome Zurabishvili good health and success as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Georgia.
