President Sarkissian sent congratulations on consecration and opening of Tause Malak temple

President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message on the consecration and opening of Tause Malak temple which reads: “I cordially congratulate the brotherly Yezidi people on the consecration and opening of Tause Malak temple. For centuries, Armenia has been a home and fatherland for thousands of Yezidis which we defend, build and develop together.

The establishment of Tause Malak temple on the Armenian land made it also the spiritual center for our Yezidi brothers and sisters. We must do our best so that all citizens of our country, regardless of their religion and nationality, have every opportunity to preserve their language, traditions, and rituals, cultural and spiritual heritage. I wish that this newly-consecrated holy site fills the homes of Yezidi compatriots with prayers of peace and prosperity and enriches their spiritual and cultural life.”
