President Armen Sarkissian is receiving congratulations on the occasion of Independence Day

On the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia, President Armen Sarkissian is receiving congratulations from the heads of states and the leading international organizations.

President Sarkissian received congratulations from the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Deputy Emir Abdullah bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The King of Morocco Mohammed VI in his congratulatory message hailed the friendship of the two countries and stated his readiness to deepen the bilateral relations and cooperation. He conveyed his best wishes to President Sarkissian and wished progress and prosperity to the Armenian people.

The President of the prestigious EastWest Institute William Parker in his letter addressed to President Sarkissian noted in particular, “In our efforts to establish a dialogue between East and West, the role of Armenia - an ancient nation and a modern state situated on the crossroads of civilizations, is crucial. We are looking forward to expanding our cooperation with Armenia.”
