Congratulatory message by President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of Women’s Day

 Dear Ladies,

I congratulate you on the occasion of Women’s Day. I am confident that today you will be overwhelmed with grandchildren bringing you snowdrops, pupils and students writing down congratulatory lines, strong hugs from brothers and sons, and husbands presenting you surprises. Today we revere our ladies – the guardians of the warmth in our families and maturity of our society. Nowadays women play a more prominent role that ever. With the lapse of time, the process of constitutional reforms will make this tendency even stronger, and the foundation for it has already been laid. The increasing participation of women in Armenia’s life in turn consistently strengthens the guidelines for peaceful coexistence, fair work and creativity which we truly consider essential.

I once again congratulate our women, daughters and mothers on the occasion of this beautiful spring holiday. Let this sunny day bring light and success to every family.
