The passing year has been an anniversary year for the national security bodies. Ninety-five years ago, when the First Armenian Republic was established, formed were intelligence and counterintelligence structures.

Through the decades, the national security bodies have faced the most serious challenges, have been forged in visible and invisible battles, have formed traditions and accumulated invaluable experience. Your contribution to thwarting threats aimed against our state and our society is substantial.

Today, all prerequisites for your professional growth and further improvement of your work are in place. I am confident that you will continue to fulfill the mission entrusted in you with honor and multidimensional professional capabilities. Realities and challenges of the contemporary world and our region must have an appropriate response.
