President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the Jewish community of Armenia

Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the Jewish community of Armenia on the occasion of New Year.

The message states:

“Dear representatives of the Jewish community of Armenia,
Dear Fellow Citizens,

I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah – New Year holiday.

I join in the joy of all Jewish families living in Armenia, which celebrate today this beautiful holiday coming from the depth of the ages. I wish every one of you and the entire Jewish community of Armenia advancement and success. I also wish you preserve and develop your language, your spiritual values and culture which are also part of Armenia’s cultural diversity and wealth.

Let the New Year be a year of peace and new achievements for the Jews of Armenia. Let the Jewish community together with the people of Armenia never encounter inhuman attitude such as racial and religious discrimination and xenophobia. Let the Jewish community together with the Armenians and other communities side by side carry on with its centuries-long and incessant progression.
