President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory letter to the renowned Armenian-American scientist, historian, Director of the Genocide Studies of the Zoryan Institute, professor Vahagn Dadrian on the occasion of his 85th birth anniversary.
The letter states,
“Dear Mr. Dadrian,
I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of your 85th birth anniversary.
You are one of the greatest Armenian scientists of our times, whose scientific work and activities possess great public and political significance. Your contribution to the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, sound and persuasive counterblows to the policy of denial continue to bring observable results. It is a substantial input to the international fight against the crime of genocide in which Armenia has been and will continue to fight at its frontline.
In Armenia you are well-known, loved and greatly appreciated as a person, who has devoted his life and work to struggle for the recognition of the just cause of his people.
I wish you good health and long and fruitful life.”
