President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Ukraine’s National Holiday

Today, on the occasion of Ukraine’s National Holiday – Independence Day, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich.

The message states:

“Dear Mr. President,

Please accept my sincere congratulations and good wishes on Ukraine’s National Holiday – Independence Day.

I am confident that the course taken under your leadership toward the state-building, reconstruction of economy and social sphere and strengthening of the country’s position on the international arena emanate from the long-term interests of the Ukrainian people and will promote Ukraine’s advancement and dynamic development.

I would like to mention with satisfaction that our relations, based on strong friendly relations of our two peoples, register advancement which can provide for the further deepening of our relations, based on mutual assistance and shared interests.

I trust that the established candid dialogue and understanding will enhance our bilateral cooperation, promote development of economic partnership, and strengthen humanitarian and inter-regional ties.
