President Armen Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences on the death of the renowned lawyer, statesman, and former President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Armenia Professor Tariel Barseghyan to express his deep condolences to his family, relatives, colleagues, and students.

In particular, his letter says:

"Tariel Barseghyan made a significant contribution to the development of the state legal system, jurisprudence, and legal practice of Armenia. Invaluable is Tariel Barseghyan's substantial contribution to the training of high-quality legal staff. I fondly remember our years of teaching together at Yerevan State University.

As guidelines for work activities and human relations, For Tariel Barseghyan, principles and responsibility, respect and broad-mindedness were primary for Tariel Barseghyan. He conveyed these high human qualities to his students and alumni, friends and colleagues.”
