President Armen Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences to the President of Guatemala Jimmy Morales on tragic consequences of a natural disaster.

“I am deeply shocked with the tragic consequences of the Fuego volcano eruption which overwhelmed Guatemala and caused multiple casualties and destruction. I am confident that the resolute steps undertaken by the government of Guatemala will allow to rapidly overcome the consequences of this disaster.
I express deep condolences to You and the people of Guatemala and wish a speedy recovery to the injured as well as tenacity and fortitude to the families of the victims,” reads the letter of the President of Armenia.
