President extends condolences over Sergey Sarinyan’s demise

President Serzh Sargsyan sent a condolence message to the Sarinyan family on the demise of renowned literary critic, NAS Academician Sergey Sarinyan. The President offered deep condolences to prominent scholar’s family, close relatives, friends and colleagues.

“The outstanding scholar dedicated his career to the study of classical and modern Armenian literature, literary theory and methodology. He made a significant contribution to the cause of publication and propagation of Armenian literature.

Valuable is Sergey Sarinyan’s contribution to pedagogy, education and upbringing of the new generation of philologists. He deserved his colleagues’ and students’ respect and sympathy,” the President said in his message.
