President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the devastating earthquake which occurred in Iran. The letter states:

“Your Excellency,

I learned with profound pain about the devastating earthquake in Eastern Atrpatakan province of Iran, which claimed hundreds of human lives, left thousands wounded and caused huge destruction.

I express my sincere condolences to the friends and families of the victims, and in Your person to the friendly people of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At this difficult moment, we stand by the people of Iran and are ready to provide all necessary assistance for overcoming the consequences of this tragedy.”
