The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the Governor General of New Zealand Anand Satyanand on the tragic death of miners in the wake of the powerful explosion in a mine.
The letter states:
“Honorable Governor General,
I learned with great sorrow the news on the tragic death of the miners in the wake of the powerful explosion in a mine.
On behalf of the people of Armenia and my own behalf, I express deep condolences to You, families of the victims and the people of New Zealand. At this grave moment I wish you resilience, endurance and strength.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest esteem.”
The letter states:
