President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences on the demise of the former President of Argentina Nestor Kirchner

The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Republic of Argentina Kristina Fernandes de Kirchner on the occasion of the unexpected death of the former President of Argentina Nestor Kirchner.

The letter states:

“Dear Madam President,

I learned with profound sorrow the news about the unexpected death of Your spouse, the former President of Argentina Nestor Kirchner.

A renowned political figure, unwavering proponent of democratic values and human rights Nestor Kirchner made a significant contribution to the modern history of Argentina. Thanks to his persistent and purposeful activities, President Kirchner also brought his invaluable input to the development and deepening of friendly relations between Armenia and Argentina.

On behalf of the people of Armenia and my own behalf, I express heartfelt condolences to You, Your family and brotherly people of Argentina. At this grave moment, I wish you endurance, fortitude and resilience.
