Today, President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the Marshal of the Polish Sejm Bronislaw Komorowski.
The letter states:
“Excellency,
I was deeply shocked with the news of the plane crash which took place this morning and claimed lives of the President of Poland, his wife, members of the National Assembly, top officials, and many worthy sons and daughters of the Polish nation.
On behalf of the people of Armenia and my own behalf, I expressed our deepest condolences to you, families of the victims, and the entire Polish nation.
We share yours and the Polish people’s grief and pain and wish you speedy recovery from this catastrophe which befell your nation. At the same time, we wish perseverance and courage to the families and friends of the victims.
Please accept, Mr. Komorowski, the assurances of my highest esteem.”
