President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s Congratulatory Message on the Army Formation Day

Dear Compatriots,

Today we celebrate the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of Armenia, a day that symbolizes the strength of our independence, security, and statehood. This anniversary is another opportunity to recognize the role and importance of the Armed Forces in the defense of our country.

The Armed Forces of Armenia were formed under historically challenging conditions, founded on national unity, determination, and patriotism. The army is one of the key pillars of our statehood, standing on the front line of safeguarding the country’s peace and security.

Today, our soldiers and officers continue their service with great responsibility and dedication, defending the state borders and ensuring the stability of the Republic. Their preparedness and vigilance are essential guarantees of our security.

The development and modernization of the army—aimed at enhancing combat readiness, improving the social conditions of servicemen, and introducing modern military equipment are state priorities, and we are moving along this path year by year by implementing new reforms within the armed forces.

Dear Servicemen,

Your service deserves the highest appreciation. I am confident that through united efforts we will be able to overcome all challenges and ensure a peaceful and secure future for our country.

I congratulate us all on this significant day, wishing peace, unity, and progress.
