President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s Congratulatory message on the Army Formation Day

Dear compatriots,

Today we celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the formation of our army, proudly recalling the path our armed forces have traversed. This day is not only a celebration but also another opportunity to value the role of the army in the defense of the country and in the establishment of our independent statehood.

The Armed Forces of Armenia are the guarantors of the country’s independence, security, and peace. The Armenian army was formed under complex and challenging conditions, founded on the principles of national unity, resilience, and patriotism.

Today, our soldiers and officers continue this important mission with great responsibility and dedication, protecting the borders and ensuring the country’s security, always ready to defend the peace of the Republic of Armenia at any moment.

On this day, we gratefully remember the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of Armenia. Their heroism will always remain in our hearts and inspire future generations.

The development and modernization of Armenia’s army remain among the state’s top priorities. We are consistently working to enhance the combat readiness of the armed forces, improve the social conditions of servicemen, and modernize military equipment.

Dear servicemen,

Your dedication and courage are invaluable. I am confident that together through the united efforts of the state, society, and the armed forces, we can overcome all challenges and build a peaceful and secure future.

Once again, I congratulate all of us on this significant occasion. I wish for peace, unity, and new successes on the path to our country’s prosperity.
