President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s message on the 135th anniversary of SDHP

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I cordially congratulate you on the 135th anniversary of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party.

Since the day of foundation, the Hunchakian Party actively participated in the organization of the national, political and social life of Armenia. Throughout decades, the Hunchakian party has united under his wing national and political figures who unconditionally served for the protection of the Motherland both with weapons and with educational, cultural and socio-political activities.

After the Genocide, The Hunchakian Party was one of the leading structures that managed to organize and regulate the communal life of Armenians spread all over the world, established schools and cultural centers, greatly contributing to preserving Armenian identity in the Diaspora.

After the independence of Armenia, the Party directly participated in the process of building our statehood, always displaying state-oriented and principled behavior, investing all their capacities to the strengthening and establishment of the newly independent Armenia. And today as well, Hunchakian Party stands by our statehood unconditionally and unquestionably.

I once again congratulate the members and supporters of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party on the 135th anniversary of foundation and wish you success and achievements for the sake of bringing our common national goals to life, for the sake of a powerful and developing Armenia.
