Congratulatory message of the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan on the occasion of the Labor day on may

Dear compatriots,

I congratulate you on the occasion of the Labor Day.

On this holiday, we honor labor and working people.

We, Armenians have always been renowned for our special hard-working character, diligence, skillfulness, entrepreneurship, and creativity. Our compatriots in different parts of the world are rightfully regarded as hard-working people, creators, successful specialists in their respective fields. As such, they enjoy the respect and trust of their communities.

Our priority of today is to make our country prosperous through economic development and enhancement of Armenia’s capacities. In that journey, we need to employ our national qualities that are valued and admired worldwide.

Resolution of social problems, unemployment, and poverty remains relevant for our country. We have much to do, and therefore, we should consider it our priority to ensure legal and social protection of workers and improvement of working conditions.

It is important to develop the cooperation between the state and the business community, increase the social responsibility of businesses.

Let me congratulate you once again and wish you, dear compatriots, to enjoy decent jobs and salaries, good health, and longevity.
