President Serzh Sargsyan sends congratulatory message on Erebuni Cardiology Center’s jubilee

President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message on the occasion of the jubilee of Erebuni Cardiology Center. The message reads as follows:

Dear employees of Erebuni Cardiology Center, “Erebunians,”

I cordially congratulate your jubilee. In 30 years, cardiology in Erebuni Medical Center has experienced impressive development, new methods and equipment for treatment and diagnosis have been introduced, and a strong team of cardiologists have been formed which is truly one of the most prestigious ones in the Republic of Armenia.

Cardiovascular diseases still remain the main reason of illnesses, disability and mortality both in the whole world and in our republic; hence they are not only healthcare, but also social issues. Dealing with them requires creation of a qualified and up-to-date clinic where diagnosis and treatment will be carried out in accordance with present-day requirements of medicine. With its level of saturation and high quality specialists, Erebuni Cardiology Center satisfies those standards. I think that the introduction of the State Program on Urgent Stenting during Acute Myocardial Infarction on January 1 this year is an important step aimed at decreasing the level of illnesses and morality in the republic. It is carried out successfully and your center plays a major role in that. Simultaneously, Erebuni Cardiology Center is a smithy for training of new cadres. It produces numerous qualified cadres for the Republic of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Of great importance is the fact that along with their practical work, your doctors are also engaged in scientific activities. Your scientific researches and works have gained recognition beyond the borders of the republic. Today’s symposium comes to prove it
.
I once again congratulate all the doctors, nurses and abbesses on the jubilee, wish them health and further professional achievements for the benefit of our people’s health.

I wish the symposium productive work.”
