  Monument to William Saroyan opened in Yerevan Today, President Serzh Sargsyan attended the ceremony of unveiling the great writer William Saroyan’s monument, which is placed at the crossroad of Mashtots Avenue and Moskovian street. The Pan-Armenian Geographical Association has made a donation for the monument. The author of the monument is David Yerevantsi. The initiative is realized within the framework of the jubilee arrangements dedicated to William Saroyan’s 100th birthday.
