President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the delegates of the 30th Representative Assembly of the Ramgavar Liberal Party and the members of the party’s newly elected Executive Board.

Welcoming the guests, President Khachaturyan congratulated them on the holding of the assembly and wished the newly elected leadership success in their activities for the benefit of national and pan-Armenian objectives.

The President expressed his gratitude to the Ramgavar Liberal Party for its state-centered positions maintained over the decades, its contribution to the protection of national interests, and its consistent support for the establishment and development of the institutions of the independent Republic of Armenia. He particularly emphasized the party’s activities in the Diaspora, aimed at preserving Armenian identity, safeguarding national values, promoting Armenian culture, and consolidating pan-Armenian potential.

During the meeting, President Khachaturyan presented Armenia’s domestic and foreign policy priorities, regional developments, the challenges facing the country, and the measures being taken to address them. The discussion also covered the modernization of the public administration system, the strengthening of democratic institutions, economic development, and the progress of reforms being implemented across various sectors of public life.

The participants also discussed the security and political environment surrounding Armenia, efforts aimed at advancing the peace agenda, and the prospects for establishing stability and lasting peace in the region.

Referring to the upcoming National Assembly elections, the President outlined the general pre-election atmosphere and current realities in the country. In this context, he emphasized the importance of conducting free, fair, transparent, and competitive elections as a fundamental prerequisite for the development and consolidation of a democratic state. The President stressed the importance of fully ensuring citizens’ right to freely express their will, strengthening public confidence in electoral processes, and fostering the continuous development of political culture.

The meeting reaffirmed the importance of democratic values, the strengthening of statehood, and nationwide cooperation, emphasizing the significance of joint efforts in advancing the development and progress of the Republic of Armenia.
