President Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the opening ceremony of the newly built school in Sasunik

On September 1, President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the newly built school in Sasunik, Aragatsotn region.

The President of the Republic took part in the opening ceremony of the school, toured the educational institution, and got acquainted with the conditions created and the work carried out. The President congratulated everyone on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Education, emphasizing the priority of education for Armenia:

“In today’s world, the Republic of Armenia can be competitive only through knowledge and the quality of education. It is no coincidence that, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the government has been implementing since 2021 the “300 Schools, 500 Kindergartens” program, through which educational institutions are being constructed, reconstructed, and renovated. Rest assured, our success depends on the kind of education we provide to future generations.”

Vahagn Khachaturyan highlighted the role of education not only in professional development but also in shaping the free and self-confident citizen of the Republic of Armenia: “My appeal and request is to create for our children an environment where they feel freedom, appreciate it, and remain dedicated to our state. Our goal is for them to build such an Armenia that no one will have doubts about its endurance and strength.”

Concluding his speech, the President of the Republic noted that we must be ready for the realization of the great idea of peace, and wished everyone new achievements and success.
