President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Davit Khudatyan

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Davit Khudatyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures.

During the meeting, the Minister presented to the President the ongoing and planned programs implemented by the ministry aimed at infrastructure development, particularly in road construction and related sectors.

Davit Khudatyan noted that active work is being carried out on various sections of the North-South Highway, especially in the settlements of Syunik region, including the Kajaran-Meghri section, as well as on the Ashtarak-Gyumri road segment. He briefed the President on the results achieved specifically in the construction of tunnels and bridges.

The Minister also mentioned that in 2024, around 500 km of roads have already been built, and one of the ministry’s main goals this year is to construct and rehabilitate roads of a similar scale.

The President emphasized the importance of infrastructure development, noting that it not only contributes to balanced regional development but also stimulates economic growth and improves the quality of life for the population.
