President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Filip Ivanović
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, received the Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Montenegro, Filip Ivanović.
Welcoming the guest, President Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of high-level reciprocal visits and meetings, considering them key factors in the development of relations between the two countries and in shaping the political agenda. He highlighted the necessity of intensifying joint efforts to effectively utilize the full potential of mutually beneficial areas of cooperation.
“I am confident that during Your visit, you have outlined the main directions and opportunities that will contribute to the further development of relations between our two countries,” noted President Khachaturyan.
Filip Ivanović expressed his gratitude for the warm reception, highlighting the friendly ties between Armenia and Montenegro.
“It is a great honor for us to visit Yerevan and meet with You. Undoubtedly, as You mentioned, the main goal of my visit is to promote relations between Armenia and Montenegro, which are based on long-standing friendship, and we are pleased to take steps in this direction,” stated Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs.
During the meeting, the prospects for developing bilateral cooperation were discussed. President Khachaturyan and Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović comprehensively addressed the opportunities for expanding and deepening collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
Special attention was given to implementing bilateral initiatives in the fields of education and science, as well as fostering cultural ties. The sides agreed to take measures to fully realize the existing potential for cooperation between the two countries.
The necessity of establishing new connections and strengthening existing relations in the political, economic, tourism, and business sectors was particularly emphasized during the meeting. President Khachaturyan underlined that deepening cooperation in these areas is crucial for the development of both states.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides reaffirmed the primary importance of democracy and the continuous development of democratic institutions as a guarantee for the prosperity of both countries and the strengthening of their positions within the international community.
The sides agreed to continue high-level dialogue and deepen cooperation in all mutually beneficial sectors.
