President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador of the UAE to Armenia, Nariman Al-Mulla

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia, Nariman Al-Mulla.

At the beginning of the meeting, the ambassador conveyed to the President an invitation from the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to participate in the “Annual Investment Meeting” in Abu Dhabi.

Welcoming the ambassador, the President expressed gratitude for the invitation and noted that in recent years, the United Arab Emirates has become one of Armenia’s key partners, with cooperation between the two countries continuing to develop and expand in various directions.

The President assessed positively the efforts of both countries’ leadership to strengthen collaboration, as well as the ambassador’s personal effective work.

Ambassador Al-Mulla expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet and for the warm words, emphasizing that she is doing her utmost to contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to further promoting multifaceted cooperation between the two countries was discussed. In particular, they addressed the potential for developing cooperation in economic, high-tech, and related fields.

Both sides emphasized the importance of advancing ongoing joint programs as well as expanding future cooperation in the fields of economy, alternative energy, and other sectors.

During the conversation, the continuous efforts to improve the investment climate for business circles and private sector representatives of both countries were highlighted.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional developments and the overall situation. The President of the Republic stressed that Armenia remains committed to achieving lasting and stable peace in the South Caucasus and is steadfastly moving in that direction. In this context, Ambassador Nariman Al-Mulla reaffirmed the UAE’s readiness to contribute as much as possible to establishing stable peace in the region, which serves the interests of all sides.
