The Ambassador of Algeria to Armenia presented his credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Armenia, Boumediène Guennad, presented his credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan.
Congratulating the Ambassador on assuming his post, the President stated: “I am confident that during Your tenure, the relations between our two countries will reach a higher level, based on mutual interests. Strengthening friendly relations with the Arab world has been among the priorities of our foreign policy.”
Expressing gratitude for the reception, the newly appointed Ambassador noted that he will make every effort to initiate and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
During the meeting, issues of mutual interest in politics, economy, culture, and other fields were discussed.
In this context, the promotion of political dialogue and mutual visits at various levels between Armenia and Algeria was emphasized, which can serve as a favorable basis for further development of cooperation in economic, cultural, educational, business, and other sectors.
The conversation also highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries on international platforms and within organizations.
