The newly appointed Ambassador of Oman to Armenia presented his credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Armenia, Hamoud Al Tuwaih (residence in Moscow), presented his credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan.
The President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success. “The Republic of Armenia greatly values its relations with the Sultanate of Oman. For us, Oman is a friendly country and a reliable partner,” President Khachaturyan said, emphasizing that developing relations with the Arab world is one of the key directions of Armenia’s foreign policy.
The newly appointed Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm reception: “Let me convey the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham of Oman to You personally and to the friendly people of Armenia.”
During the meeting, discussions were held on advancing cooperation between Armenia and Oman in the fields of politics, economy, education, and culture.
Both sides emphasized the importance of taking steps to realize the potential of bilateral cooperation.
They also highlighted the special role of political dialogue and mutual visits at various levels in strengthening the relations and cooperation between the two countries.
