President Vahagn Khachaturyan paid a working visit to the Swiss Confederation to participate in the Crans Montana Forum
President Vahagn Khachaturyan is on a working visit to the Swiss Confederation from November 13 to 15. During the visit, the President will attend the opening ceremony of the Crans Montana Forum in Geneva and deliver a speech.
The Crans Montana Forum is a Swiss international non-governmental organization founded in 1986 by Jean-Pascal Delamuraz (President of the Swiss Confederation in 1989 and 1996, former Minister of Defense and Economy), Jean-Paul Carteron, and the Prince of Liechtenstein.
The Forum aims to promote direct communications between organizations, governments, and politicians from various countries and to ensure high levels of stability, justice, and security. It places particular importance on fostering international dialogue and cooperation.
The exclusive session of the current year is dedicated to the topics of "Security and international relations, economic development, business and investments.
Within the framework of the working visit, the President is also scheduled to meet with Director-General of the World Trade Organization Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, and other high-ranking partners.
