The newly appointed Ambassador of Ghana presented her credentials to the President of the Republic
Leslie Akyaa Opoku-Ware, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Armenia, presented her credentials to the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan.
The President of the Republic congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the responsible position and wished her effective work during the diplomatic mission.
"The African region is one of the directions of our foreign policy with relatively new prospects. In recent years, we have been trying to intensify our relations with African countries, and we have already taken certain steps in this direction, I am confident that Your appointment will become a new incentive for cooperation between our countries," the President said.
The newly appointed Ambassador expressed gratitude for the congratulations and kind words.
"I am very pleased to have the opportunity to represent my country in Armenia and impressed by the warm welcome I received in Armenia, I will spare no effort to deepen cooperation between our countries," Ambassador Akyaa Opoku-Ware said.
Over the course of the meeting, issues related to the opportunities and directions of realizing the potential of cooperation between Armenia and Ghana in various spheres were discussed. The importance of taking measures to enhance cooperation in high technology, education, agriculture and other fields, as well as the intensification of work in the contractual and legal sphere between the two countries was emphasized.
The sides positively assessed the effective cooperation between Armenia and Ghana on various international platforms as well.
