The newly appointed Ambassador of Estonia to Armenia presented her credentials to the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Armenia Marge Mardisalu-Kahari presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Vahagn Khachaturyan.
The President congratulated the Ambassador on taking office and wished her success in carrying out her responsible mission in our country. "Armenia attaches importance to relations with Estonia, which are based on common values and mutually beneficial cooperation. We highly appreciate Estonia's support both in the previous two-month mission of EU monitoring capacity and in the deployment of a new EU civilian mission in Armenia," President Khachaturyan said.
The newly appointed Ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that Estonia always supports the agenda of achieving peace in the region.
At the meeting, issues related to the further strengthening and deepening of friendly relations between Armenia and Estonia were discussed.
The importance of close cooperation between the two countries both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of the European Union was noted.
Over the course of the conversation, a reference was made to the opportunities of fully realizing the great potential of cooperation existing in economics, high technology, digitalization, education and other fields, as well as the importance of sharing best practices.
