President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Ambassador of Germany Claudia Bush
On the occasion of the National holiday of the Federal Republic of Germany, President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Claudia Bush, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Armenia, at the residence of the President.
"I cordially congratulate on the National holiday of our friend Germany and wish continued development and prosperity. Armenia and Germany have a long history of friendship and cooperation based on civilizational, religious and cultural values," the President of the Republic noted.
Ambassador of Germany to Armenia Claudia Bush, in turn, thanked for the reception and warm wishes.
At the meeting, issues related to both bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Germany and the multifaceted agenda of cooperation within the framework of the European Union were discussed.
The sides noted the importance of starting negotiations on visa liberalization.
Over the course of the conversation, the sides exchanged views on global processes and events taking place in the region and Europe.
They both stressed the importance of ensuring the continuity of the necessary steps for the further promotion of cooperation between the two countries.
