President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Carles Enseñat Reig, the Speaker of the Parliament of Principality of Andorra.

Welcoming the guest, the President stressed the importance of intensifying the political dialogue with Andorra, as well as steps aimed at developing cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.

The Speaker of the Parliament of Andorra expressed gratitude for the welcome and stressed that Andorra is interested in promoting relations with Armenia in various directions.

During the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of steps aimed at strengthening cooperation in the European Union, Francophonie and other international platforms. Intensification of efforts aimed at forming new ties between the business circles of the two countries was emphasized and, in this context, mutual political visits and continuous dialogue were highlighted.

Over the course of the conversation, issues related to the exchange of experience in the field of information technology, digital management, identification of the potential for interaction existing in the field of tourism, education and other areas were discussed.

"There are a number of spheres where we can deepen our cooperation and explore what we can do together. Tourism is one of the sectors with great potential for development, in particular, the introduction of Andorra's successful experience in the field of ski tourism in Armenia. We also consider it important to share experience in the field of tunnel and road construction," the President said.
