Newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Armenia Claudia Bush presented her credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia, Claudia Bush, presented her credentials to the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan.
Congratulating the Ambassador on taking office, the President noted: "I am full of hope that You will fulfill your high mission as ambassador with great dedication and commitment, investing Your professional experience in the development of Armenian-German relations and stimulating cooperation in various fields of mutual interest. I assure You that the Armenian authorities will provide You with full support in all Your initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral relations."
Expressing gratitude for the reception and good wishes, the newly appointed Ambassador stressed that during the diplomatic service she would make every effort to further strengthen relations between the two countries.
Over the course of the meeting, issues on the agenda of multifaceted cooperation between Armenia and Germany were discussed. A reference was made to the issues of further stimulating close cooperation in the economy, culture, high technologies and other spheres.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on regional realities and developments. In this context, the President of the Republic emphasized Armenia's firm position on the establishment of orderly and neighborly relations with its neighbors.
The sides also referred to the importance of promoting cooperation between Armenia and Germany both bilaterally and within the framework of the European Union in various formats.
