President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador of Kuwait to Armenia Nawaf Al-Enezi

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Armenia, Nawaf Al-Enezi, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

Welcoming the Ambassador, the President highly appreciated the work he has done, and his efforts aimed at strengthening the Armenian-Kuwaiti relations and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the reception and conveyed greetings to the President from His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.

During the meeting, the prospects of development of cooperation between Armenia and Kuwait were discussed, particularly in the fields of economy and tourism. In this context, the promotion of ties between the investment support agencies of the two countries was highlighted.

During the conversation, a reference was made to the opportunities of visa regime simplification to Kuwait for Armenian citizens.

The sides exchanged views on regional realities and developments. In this context, the sides stressed the importance of establishing lasting peace.
