President Vahagn Khachaturyan visited Armavir region

On July 11, President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan visited Armavir region.

Within the framework of the visit, the President visited the "Metsamor" historical-archeological reserve-museum, got acquainted with the museum's rare collection.

Accompanied by Artavazd Zakyan, the director of the reserve-museum, the President of the Republic toured the exhibition halls, got acquainted with the current programs and ongoing excavations and historical-archaeological research, and inquired about the problems of the reserve-museum and the work carried out towards their solution.

Then President Vahagn Khachaturyan visited Lernagog village and got acquainted with the construction of a new kindergarten and residential houses by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, for 12 families forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh.

During the visit, the President of the Republic also visited the "Karas Wines" winery, got acquainted with the successes and general activities of the factory in recent years.

In the Armavir region, the President visited the intensive gardens of almond, founded by the "Vanand Agro" CJSC, got acquainted with the activities and upcoming projects of economic entities, existing problems and works carried out towards their solution as a result of cooperation between the private sector and local authorities.

During the visits, the President of the Republic stressed the positive impact of close cooperation between business and government bodies on the full realization of the economic potential of the entire region.
