The President of the Republic received the Governor of San Luis Potosi, Mexico

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received José Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, the Governor of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Welcoming the guest, the President highly appreciated the Governor's visit to Armenia.

"Such mutual visits contribute to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between our countries at different levels," Vahagn Khachaturyan said.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, José Ricardo Gallardo Cardona stressed that one of the important goals of his visit is to identify new prospects for economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as to realize the existing potential of cooperation.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to taking the necessary steps to create new ties between the business circles of Armenia and Mexico, as well as stimulating mutual investments.

During the conversation, the President of the Republic gave details about regional realities and current developments. In this context, the President emphasized that Armenia is interested in developing relations with all neighbors based on the basic principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, mutual respect and neighborliness.

The meeting touched upon ways and opportunities to further stimulate cooperation in economy, high technology, culture, tourism and other fields.
