President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Chairman of the French-Armenian Council Daniel Kurkdjian

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Chairman of the French-Armenian Council Daniel Kurkdjian and FASTEX Business Development Director Armand Pinarbasi.

Welcoming the guests, the President of the Republic noted the importance of the activities of Armenian organizations of the Diaspora and initiatives that strengthen and stimulate close ties between Armenia and the Diaspora in the political, economic, cultural and educational spheres, as well as steps aimed at forming a common agenda.
Daniel Kurkdjian extended his thanks to the President for the reception and provided details on the course of the internal life of the Armenian community of France and developments, as well as on existing problems and ways to overcome them.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic provided details about the general regional situation and the process of demarcation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Over the course of the conversation, the sides stressed the importance of the broad activities of the Council of French-Armenians and other Armenian organizations of France, which is aimed at further development of the existing friendly relations between Armenia and France, as well as is consonant with the fundamental principles of cooperation between the two states.
