President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Swiss-Armenian businessman and philanthropist Vahé Gabrache.

The President highly appreciated the programs implemented in Armenia on the initiative of the entrepreneur in other sectors of the economy, which, in particular, are examples applicable in the field of modern agriculture.

Vahé Gabrache extended thanks for the warm welcome and stressed that he would continue his active participation in various programs implemented in Armenia.

During the meeting, the Deputy Head of the Mission of the Swiss Confederation to Armenia, Werner Thut, presented details of current sectoral programs and upcoming initiatives in the field of forestry and borderline villages’ development.

During the conversation, the social and humanitarian problems of internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh were touched upon. The sides exchanged views on the development of support programs for the Swiss side to solve the above-mentioned problems.
