President Vahagn Khachaturyan attends the awards ceremony of the best athletes of the year

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the awards ceremony of the best athletes of the year organized at the residence of the President.
The event was attended by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan, Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Arayik Harutyunyan, members of the government and deputies of the National Assembly.

During the event, ESCS Deputy Minister Karen Giloyan delivered a speech summing up the year, presenting the record successes and achievements of Armenian athletes in 2023. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan delivered a speech addressing the plans for construction of new sports schools to be implemented by the RA government in the field of sports in the near future.

In his speech, the Prime Minister emphasized that the government is pursuing the full advancement of the sports development strategy. Toward the end of the event, the awards ceremony of the ten best athletes of 2023 was held.
