President Vahagn Khachaturyan receives the representatives of the Argentine Senate and Chamber of Deputies at the Armenian Embassy in Argentina

As part of his visit to Argentina, President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the members of the Armenia-Argentina Friendship Group of the Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Republic of Argentina, the latter's Chairperson, Guillermo Andrada.

During the meeting, the sides highly valued the traditional friendly relations between the two countries, as well as the role of parliamentary diplomacy, and in this context, the importance of the visit of Argentine parliamentarians to Armenia in May of this year was touched upon.

During the conversation, the interlocutors discussed the possibilities of deepening sectoral cooperation between the two countries, in particular, in the field of high technologies, innovation, agriculture among others.

In his speech, President of the Republic of Armenia presented the details of the security situation and existing challenges in the South Caucasus region to the Argentine parliamentarians.

In this context, the President addressed Armenia's position on establishing sustainable and lasting peace in the region, as well as the "Crossroads of Peace" concept. In this regard, the parliamentarians expressed their full support for Armenia's efforts toward this end.

Both sides emphasized the importance of mutual visits at different levels, as well as the activation of business contacts.
