President Vahagn Khachaturyan receives the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia Nariman Mohammed Sharif AlMulla
President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia Nariman Mohammed Sharif AlMulla.
The President congratulated the Ambassador, and in her person, the friendly people of the United Arab Emirates on the most important event in their history, the upcoming National Day.
The President noted that Armenia highly values the partnership of the United Arab Emirates and is determined to deepen it in a number of areas. "The United Arab Emirates is one of the key and reliable partners of Armenia," the President noted.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the reception and noted, "Allow me to convey the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. It is beyond doubt that there is a mutual interest between the two countries to develop relations, as evidenced by the recent increase in mutual visits."
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the comprehensive agenda of Armenia-Emirate cooperation. Both sides emphasized that the relations develop dynamically between the two countries having great potential for expanding and deepening.
During the discussion, the sides highlighted the importance of further promotion of contacts in high-tech and other economic sectors. Active mutual visits on different levels between the countries were highly valued giving a fresh impetus to the strengthening of cooperation in political, economic and business spheres.
At the meeting, ideas were also exchanged on completing the visa regime liberalization process between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates. In this context, it was emphasized that the liberalization of visas will be a crucial step in seeking mutually beneficial solutions and new directions for the comprehensive agenda of Armenian-Emirati relations.
During the discussion, the sides also touched upon the overall regional realities and developments. In his speech, President Vahagn Khachaturyan emphasized that Armenia is firm in its commitment to achieving sustainable and ultimate peace in the South Caucasus region, which will significantly contribute to the economic development of the entire region.
