President Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the reception dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Armenian dram

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan attended the reception organized by the Central Bank of Armenia in the National Gallery of Armenia, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Armenian dram.

During the event, the President delivered a speech touching upon the episodes of the history of the creation and introduction of the national currency.

In his speech, the President also expressed gratitude to the managers and employees of the Central Bank of all times, as well as the state officials and representatives of competent agencies that had a contribution to the introduction of the Armenian dram.

Vahagn Khachaturyan also emphasized the important role of the Central Bank as an independent body in ensuring the flexibility and stability of the country's financial and economic system.
