President Vahagn Khachaturyan receives Mati Raidma, head of the Estonia-Armenia friendship group of the Estonian Parliament

On November 3, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the head of the Estonia-Armenia friendship group of the Estonian Parliament Mati Raidma.

The President welcomed the guest and noted. "I am glad to meet with you today. Thank you for the support that our friend Estonia provides. This support is of great value during these difficult times."

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Mati Rydma emphasized that his visit to Armenia is aimed at strengthening the friendly relations formed between the two countries which have great potential for sustained development.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to further promotion of close cooperation between Armenia and Estonia on both bilateral and European Union platforms. Efforts aimed at the development of parliamentary diplomacy by both countries were highly valued by both sides.

During the discussion, ideas were exchanged with respect to programs aimed at providing support to forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and addressing their humanitarian and social issues.
