President Vahagn Khachaturyan arrived in the Kingdom of Belgium on a working visit

The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan arrived in the Kingdom of Belgium on a working visit upon the invitation of the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to participate in the Global Gateway conference to be held in Brussels on October 25-26.

The Global Gateway, launched by the European Commission, is a strategy that aims to promote smart, clean and safe communications in the fields of digitalization, energy and transport and to strengthen health, education and research systems across the world. The Global Gateway brings together the efforts of the EU and its Member States to contribute to a sustainable global recovery considering the needs of EU partners and EU interests.

Within the framework of the visit, meetings of the President of the Republic of Armenia with foreign partners are envisaged.
