Newly-appointed Ambassador of Bangladesh to Armenia Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury presented his credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury (residence: Tehran) presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.

The President congratulated the newly-appointed Ambassador and wished him prolific work during the fulfillment of his diplomatic mission.

"We have active cooperation with Bangladesh in various initiatives on international platforms and I am hopeful that your designation will contribute to the further development of political and economic relations between our countries," President Khachaturyan noted.

The newly-appointed Ambassador expressed gratitude for the reception and kind wishes and noted that the geographical distance cannot hinder the promotion of cooperation.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the potential directions and areas of cooperation between Armenia and Bangladesh. The interlocutors also touched upon the need to activate cooperation in the fields of economy, education and science, as well as to create new networks and opportunities between the business circles of the two countries through high-level mutual visits.

During the discussion, ideas were exchanged on general regional realities.
